We're building our first home!!!

For those of you who do not already know, we are building a home in Sellersburg, Indiana. I mentioned in the last post that Shelly has accepted a position as the pharmacist-in-charge at the new CVS/Pharmacy is Sellersburg which will open in June. To be closer to her work and because we felt it was the right time to become home owners, we decided to build a house. We chose Schuler Homes as the builder and couldn't be happier with the process so far. The home is in the Forest Hills subdivision along Hwy 60 which has a beautiful view of the knobs. We were lucky because there was already a foundation poured on a great lot for the style of home that we wanted. Once we signed the final build contract it only took them a couple days to begin framing the house. We will be updating the blog with pictures as the house progresses.
