We are pround to announce that our daughter, Ashton Elizabeth Summers, has arrived. She was born October 6th, 11:32pm, 8lbs 1.4ozs, 20 1/4 inches long. She is healthy as can be and the most precious little girl ever (no bias of course). We arrived at the hospital yesterday morning at 6:00am, Shelly received the Pitocin by 7:00, the doctor broke Shelly's water at 12:00, the ephideral was put in at 1:00 and then it was a waiting game. The ephideral wasn't as effective as we would have liked, but Shelly was a fighter. Shelly's parents, two sisters, and oldest nephew were there for support and that was a great blessing. We were so happy that Dr. Jennifer Roney was able to deliver Ashton and we have been very pleased with the hospital and staff. We have a long road ahead of us and we are super excited for every second of it. Thank you for all of the love and support.
